The privately owned Faculty of Pharmacy, Novi Sad was established in
2012 when it received accreditation for integrated academic studies of
Pharmacy and Pharmacy-Medical Biochemistry and specialist studies of
Medical Biochemistry. With the mentioned accreditation of these study
programs, the Faculty became the first (and so far only) accredited private
faculty in the field of pharmacy in the region.Located in one of Serbia’s
most vibrant university cities, our faculty offers a modern, high-quality
education in pharmaceutical sciences. With a focus on practical knowledge,
research, and student support, we prepare future pharmacists for
successful careers in healthcare, industry, and science—both in Serbia and
abroad.
The Medical University of Novi Sad offers a comprehensive selection of
undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of Pharmacy and
Nursing. These programs are designed to equip students with the
knowledge and practical skills needed for successful careers in healthcare.
The Faculty of Pharmacy in Novi Sad offers two distinguished programs taught in English and designed to meet the high academic
and professional standards of top European universities. The Integrated Academic Studies of Pharmacy is a five-year Master’s
program leading to the title Master of Pharmacy. It delivers a comprehensive education that balances theoretical knowledge with
practical training, covering basic sciences, pharmaceutical disciplines, and advanced areas such as pharmacogenomics,
pharmacogenetics, biologics, and over-the-counter (OTC) therapies. In the final year, students complete internships in public and
hospital pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry, and research institutions, gaining valuable real-world experience. The Faculty is
known for its strong focus on innovation and practical skills. Additionally, the Bachelor in Nursing is a three-year program that
prepares students for independent work in modern clinical and university settings. Through partnerships with hospitals and clinics,
students receive extensive hands-on training to ensure readiness for diverse healthcare environments. Both programs are part of
the Erasmus+ exchange network, offering students international academic opportunities.

The Integrated Academic Studies of Pharmacy at the University of Novi Sad is a five-year Master’s programme designed to
provide students with in-depth scientific knowledge and extensive practical experience in pharmaceutical sciences. The
curriculum combines theoretical instruction with applied learning in laboratories, pharmacies, and research institutions, in line with
European educational standards.
